Meet the newest addition to the HF Stocks family, the Badger.
Constructed from Carbon Fibre and Glass Fibre to provide mass and strength to crucial areas in the design for optimum balancing with heavy contour barrels and the added benefit of high strength and rigidity that Carbon Fibre provides to give this stock the right to be named after one of the toughest animals in the world, the BADGER.
The Badger is intended for competitive shooting and designed with key features to provide shooters with a platform that caters to their needs. The fore-end of the Badger is 60mm wide with a 42mm flat bottom to provide ultimate stability whether shooting off props, bags, bi-pods or rests and keeping the optics clear of damage. Also, with the option of adding 250mm M-lok rails to the bottom and the sides of the fore-end to fit accessories that is compatible with M-lok. The Badger can be fitted with shooters choice of bottom metal with detachable magazines (which comes as an added cost) depending on availability or the standard trigger guard and internal magazine the barrelled action comes with.
One of the most important key features on a stock that is often overlooked is the grip, as it is the point of contact between shooter and their setup. The grip on the Badger is designed to provide a neutral ambidextrous grip that is very comfortable for shooters that is small and very large handed, also providing a thumb shelf for better stability and control when shooting. The grip on the Badger is one of the largest key features.
When it comes to adjust ability, the Badger comes standard with adjustable comb height with the exception of thumb screws that is adjustable by hand or flush fit grub screws that can be adjusted with an Allen key. Also, both can be requested to be fitted either on the left hand or right-hand side of the stock. The width of the rear end of the Badger is 38mm wide which provides a larger surface that comes in contact with the cheek of the shooter which results in more control, comfort and stability over the setup.
Standard the Badger has a length of pull of 13.5 inches. Shooters can adjust the length of pull up to 14.5 inches with the provided spacer kit that is provided, by removing the recoil pad with an Allen key and adding more spacers. These spacers are machined from aluminum so that it cannot be damaged easily.
QD (quick detachable) cups can be fitted to the rear of the stock on request.
Weight
The Badger is available in two weight options without any additional cost. Keep in mind weight is a guideline, which is depended on in-letting options and accessories added.
Lightweight +-2000 grams
Heavyweight +- 2350 grams
The Badger is designed to have more weight at the rear of the stock to increase the balance of heavy barrel contours and added accessories such as muzzle devices.

Some custom in-letting can be requested but will only be approved on certain action footprints.
On standard in-letting options the Badger is equipped with a built-in aluminum bedding block with pillars. The best is being done to ensure drop in fitment but not all actions are created equal and often light alterations is needed for proper fitment. At all times fitment is to be done by a qualified individual.
Recommended torque specification is 55-inch pounds
